Return & Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If something’s not right, we’re here to help. This policy explains how returns, refunds, exchanges, subscriptions, and related fees work.
Returns:
- Standard return window: 30 days from the delivery date.
- Condition: Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in resellable condition.
- Discretionary returns: In unique situations or special circumstances, we may approve returns outside the standard criteria at our sole discretion.
- Return authorization: Please contact us (contact@tallowvera.com) before sending any item back so we can provide return instructions and ensure a smooth process.
Exchanges:
- If you’d like an exchange, start a return first. Once we receive and inspect the item, we can process an exchange based on product availability.
- Discretionary exchanges may also be approved in unique cases at our sole discretion.
Return Shipping:
- Unless the product arrived damaged or we made an error, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service and keeping the receipt as proof of return.
Damaged or Incorrect Items:
- If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, notify us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. We’ll make it right.
Condition & Damage Fees:
- Items returned used, missing parts, or not in original condition may be subject to a refurbishment or damage fee.
- If an item is returned damaged (not due to transit issues we’re responsible for), a reasonable damage fee will be deducted from your refund.
Refunds:
- Timing: Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you of the approval or rejection. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 3–5 business days. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the funds.
- Partial refunds: If an item is not returned in its original condition, is missing parts, or is returned outside the 30-day window (but approved at our discretion), a partial refund may apply.
- Non-refundable: Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless we made an error with your order.
Subscriptions:
- Customer responsibility: You are responsible for managing and canceling your subscription before the next billing cycle. We do not cancel subscriptions on your behalf.
- Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled in accordance with the terms shown at checkout or in your account.
- Charges after cancellation window: Charges that occur because a subscription was not canceled in time are not refundable.
Non-Returnable Items:
- Certain items may be marked as final sale or non-returnable at checkout or on the product page. These items are not eligible for return or refund unless defective.
How to Start a Return:
1. Email us at contact@tallowvera.com with your order number, the item(s) you want to return, and the reason.
2. We’ll confirm eligibility and provide return instructions.
3. Ship the item using a trackable method and share the tracking number with us.
4. We’ll inspect the return and process your refund or exchange per this policy.
If You Don’t See Your Refund:
- Please allow 3–5 business days after approval for the refund to appear.
- If it’s still not visible:
- Check with your bank or card issuer (posting times vary).
