Beginning in the 1950's, chemically derived petroleum-based products began to be introduced. Current skincare products marketed as "all-natural" may still contain harmful substances such as herbicides, pesticides, and agricultural chemicals. We don't want these compounds being absorbed into our skin — and don't imagine you do, either!

Tallow contains 50% saturated fat, biologically similar to the cellular membranes of healthy, youthful skin. These fatty acids are important for skin repair and regeneration. The antioxidants in tallow protect against environmental stressors such as pollution and sun exposure. Collagen creates the support structure of our skin — maintaining it with tallow promotes a healthier, more youthful appearance. Vitamin A helps the sebaceous glands function optimally and promotes cell production to reduce acne. Vitamin E has anti-inflammatory properties and promotes blood flow and collagen production.

A little goes a long way. We recommend using a pea-sized amount applied to an area such as your arm first, then working it into your skin. Less is more — start small and build up from there.
